This role will directly support some of Airbnb’s most critical product surfaces powering host acquisition, onboarding, and host engagement, and plays a key role in connecting product strategy to business outcomes.</p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;"><strong>The Difference You Will Make:</strong></span></p> <p>As an Associate Principal in Strategic Finance &amp; Analytics supporting Host Product, you will drive impact assessment &amp; inform product roadmap prioritization through strong financial and analytical rigor. You will embed business context into product decision-making—ensuring teams are optimizing for both user experience and short- and long-term company impact.</p> <p>This role requires a strong product mindset, with the ability to translate experimentation and user behavior into clear business implications and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.</p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;"><strong>A Typical Day:&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><strong>Impact Assessment: </strong>Own end-to-end impact tracking and analysis of product experiments (e.g., ERFs)

Key Responsibilities

  Lead end-to-end design process from discovery and research to high-fidelity delivery.

  Conduct user research, usability testing, and synthesize insights into design decisions.

• 3

  Build and maintain cohesive design systems and component libraries.

• 4

  Collaborate closely with PMs and engineers to ship experiences users love.

• 5

  Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG AA).

• 6

  Present work clearly and iterate rapidly based on stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional UX/UI design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating complex, end-to-end product design.
• Expert proficiency in Figma (or equivalent design tools).
• Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Understanding of front-end development constraints (HTML/CSS awareness).
