FPGA & DSP Engineer

About the Role

Auron Solutions builds Physical AI and software-defined EW platforms for autonomous signal detection and classification. As FPGA & DSP Engineer, you will migrate our signal processing pipeline from software-defined protocols to hardened FPGA fabric — designing deterministic, low-latency data paths, DMA engines, and hardware-accelerated processing cores for a real-time edge sensing system.

Key Responsibilities

  Design and implement hardened FPGA fabric to replace software-defined signal processing protocols, targeting low-latency performance.

• 2

  Develop DMA engines and hardware-accelerated processing cores for real-time edge sensing applications.

• 3

  Create deterministic data paths that meet strict timing requirements for field-deployed systems.

• 4

  Collaborate with the ML and RL engineering teams to ensure hardware pipelines meet model inference requirements.

• 5

  Document hardware architecture and support integration with the broader software-defined EW platform.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with FPGA design using Verilog or VHDL, and toolchains such as Xilinx Vivado.
• Strong background in digital signal processing (DSP) concepts including filtering, FFTs, and spectral analysis.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded firmware and hardware interface code.
• Familiarity with RF systems, DMA transfers, and real-time low-latency design constraints.
• Bonus: precision signal synthesis experience or prior work on electronic warfare / SDR systems.
