Our team of 30+ writers works closely with&nbsp; Experience Design, Experience Research, and Design Program Management to support the product development process from beginning to end. Whether you excel in upfront storytelling, end-to-end systems design, or nitty-gritty execution you'll find your people here.</p> <p><strong>The difference you will make:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Compliance team helps Airbnb operate responsibly and legally across countries, states, and cities worldwide. On this team, the UX writer contributes to and defines&nbsp; industry-leading KYC (identify verification) and other experiences that meaningfully impact the success of the company while aiming to keep friction low for legitimate hosts. Key Responsibilities

  Lead end-to-end design process from discovery and research to high-fidelity delivery.

  Conduct user research, usability testing, and synthesize insights into design decisions.

• 3

  Build and maintain cohesive design systems and component libraries.

• 4

  Collaborate closely with PMs and engineers to ship experiences users love.

• 5

  Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG AA).

• 6

  Present work clearly and iterate rapidly based on stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional UX/UI design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating complex, end-to-end product design.
• Expert proficiency in Figma (or equivalent design tools).
• Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Understanding of front-end development constraints (HTML/CSS awareness).
